The famous TV series, Chuck, is already is on the countdown towards its end, with eleven of thirteen episodes remaining of the show’s last season.

A download of the already aired installments, reveals a huge expansion in screen timings of the show’s lead actor Zachary Levi – the protagonist of the show.

We understand Levi’s levels of attachment with Chuck, a series that has been largely responsible for carving out his career in style.

So, apart from quenching his thirst to enact Chuck’s role, to his heart’s content, Zachary will also be fulfilling his directorial dreams, before the series is done with its final season, which will be somewhere towards the end of January, 2012.

Zach will be directing three whole episodes, in addition to performing Chuck’s role, in all of them.

Well, what better chance for Levi to test his skills at direction?

I mean, the show is already pretty popular and he himself plays the lead character! The chances of things going wrong are almost negligible in a project like that, right!

He will be wearing the director’s hat for the first time on the fifth episode, “Chuck vs. The Hack Off”.

We hear that the episode will see Chuck getting back to his old profession, that of a top-notch hacker, to track out a lethal virus.

The segment will feature a guest appearance by Carrie-Anne-Moss as Gertrude Verbanski – Chuck’s only able competitor from the past, who is expected to help him out on the complicated upcoming mission.

To be honest, the unexpected turn of events on the show, certainly hints at the amount of work Levi must have been putting in, to meet his inflated responsibilities and fulfill each and every duty of being a director.

Good for him that he’s making the most of his opportunity and better for us, as his directed episodes, like the fifth one, can be expected to be highly eventful, and engrossing.

We all love Zachary Levi, better known as Chuck, and it would be no exaggeration to say that he is the reason we love to watch endless episodes of Chuck, even if that means tuning in to them online.

So what happens when Zachary extends his role as lead actor on the show, to a member of the directing team?

Well, we call that a double dose of absolute fun!

If you agree with me on that, then you have all reasons to tune in to the upcoming season 5 episodes of the show, since one of these episodes will mark Zachary’s directorial venture, which is sure to up the intrigue on the show.

This is not the first time that the actor has tried his hand at directing.

In fact, he has been there twice before, in the third and fourth seasons of the show, and has received immense acclaim for his job as a director.

Now that’s what you call being multi-talented!

We wonder if this means that Zachary will eventually quit acting to carry on with his passion of directing.

Well, the best we can do is wait and watch, to see what the future has in store for this incredibly talented artist!

The particular episode, that Zachary will direct, will star Carrie-Anne Moss, of Matrix fame, in a guest role.

The combination of Zachary’s directorial acumen and Carrie-Anne’s unmatchable beauty is definitely not going to be worth missing!

Also watch out for Danny Pudi from Community, who will guest star in this episode, in a super-secretive cameo, that we can only see, after the episode airs.

This season is already taking shape as one of the most riveting seasons of the show so far.

After all, what could be more exciting than Chuck, setting up his own spy organization?

Carrie-Anne Moss has had a recurring role in the show, with her role as Gertrude Verbanski.

We simply cannot wait to see more of her!

Just days before the San Diego Comic-Con 2011 event, Zachary Levi, the Chuck star, has given some spoilers for the event, but has requested for something from the fans.

During the interview, he was asked several things, and he promptly replied to all of them (we just hope that they turn out to be true!). One question that amused me a bit was the one where Levi was asked to name the questions that he wouldn’t want his fans to go on asking him during the event.

The answer amused me even more!

He said he would want the fans to not ask for any spoilers. You see, I will shortly begin the spoilers – as told by Zachary Levi himself – for the 2011 Comic-Con event, but here’s Levi requesting us to not ask him to reveal plot details from the upcoming Chuck episodes.

Right, Sir! We would not.

As for what he told about the upcoming event, here come the spoilers!

Levi will be dressing up as a Stormtrooper. He wants to roam along the floor and believes the attire would give him the chance to do so. Go ahead, Levi!

Soon to attend the fifth Comic-Con event, the beaming Levi mentioned that he will be organizing a four-day event called Nerd HQ. It will be all about technology, gadgets, gismos, video games and everything that makes one a nerd.

He also revealed that the best experience he has had at the Comic-Con was when few parents approached him and thanked him for being on the show. People said they watch the show with their entire family and like it very much. It was a truly heartwarming experience for the actor.
